Thanks guys, while I appreciate the kind thoughts I do not celebrate getting older.
To me it's just one day less that I have left to live, one day closer to death.
I have no fond or happy memories of any birthdays, most of them have been unpleasant.
I try really hard to forget this day but unfortunately the internet won't let me.
I wish that the system here would have an option that would turn off birthday notifications, as I don't want to be reminded of it and have no desire to share this day with the rest of the world.

We don't really care that it's your birthday 
We just wanted some excuse to all tell you how much we enjoy your company here. You always have some great projects going. And you like to share those with us. We just want you to know that you are part of our family and much appreciated
