The new logo is just a proposal for now. Nothing has been decided.

That was a "marketing" leak. Put it out there, and see how everyone reacts, and gauge the reaction. Cheaper than doing a real marketing study, probably more accurate too.

The marketing leak was the "Toy" truck picture that is out there, the other logo was a contest held by the newspapers to show some fan ideas
