A&E Hd?

I just put on CSI Miami and it seems like the picture is zoomed in. Tops of heads are cut off. I don't remember their picture being like this before the fire.

Yep, A&E seems to be back to normal for HD, still stretching SD. The Mega-Disasters on History that was labeled HD in guide was still stretched SD though.

Bad news...

Found this on AVSForums:

Today, I spoke with a technician at Ascent Media Networks (the uplink facility for A&E Networks which includes the A&E and History channels) and A&E Director of Operations, Rob Jackson and both told me that A&E's management made the decision to change from OAR to 16:9 upconverted stretchovision. They agreed it didn't look good but they could do nothing about it. He suggested contacting A&E's viewer relations so I sent an email to: ae.viewerrelations@AETV.com. Anyone who feels strongly about this issue should do the same.

Appearently they had already decided to change it before the fire, but switched it when the came back up afterwards.
Everyone should email them and let them know what you think about their decision.
