99w Question

Hey All......
I have my BUD parked on 99w and have a question about several channels called GDMX 1 thru 6. What are they?
I have sound but no Pic.
Sometimes I see hash lines, other times black screen.
I assume they are scrambled ???

Nope not scrambled, they are 4:2:2 video. Check out the DVB card forum for how to decode this.

AFAIK there is only one STB that decodes this, the Qualitv receiver. Otherwise you'll need a PC DVB card.

They are feeds for syndicated programming. The reason you don't get a picture is they are broadcast in 4:2:2 video. You would need a computer card and the codecs to see the picture or a Qualitv receiver which is the only set top box receiver currently able to get 4:2:2 pictures?
