Just got my 622 so I moved the 942 to the bedroom. Hooked it up with no problems to my bedroom tv. Then I tried to backfeed the TV2 output to my son's tv and I lost almost all of the channels, the receiver only could see some transponders on 110 (I have a Dish 1000). I have a DPP 44 if that helps. When I take the diplexers and the TV2 connection out of the setup, it works fine again. Any ideas?

Having just done the exact same thing (moved my old 942 to the bedroom w/ the arrival of my new 622) I would think it has nothing to do with the TV2 output and everything to do with the diplexers or connects. What are you attempting to diplex (sat/ota, ota/tv2, sat/tv2, etc)? And where does your power inserting fit into the picture?

The power inserter is on DPP44 port 1 next to the 622. I have the output from DPP44 port 3 going to the sat in on the diplexer and the antenna in going to the second tv. The single side of the diplexer runs to the bedroom to the second diplexer where it is broken out again to connect to the 942. The sat out on the diplexer goes to the separator (sat 1 and sat 2 inputs) and the antenna portion is connected to the TV2 output. I am pretty sure this is correct. I did get the second tv to see the receiver, although snowy, but the 942 receiver lost the 119 and 129 sats and half of the transponders on 110 (odd or even I can't remember).

it sure sounds like you've got the diplexers set up correctly.

I'm assuming that you did a check switch after you added the diplexers...correct?

If that is the case, I would think that 1 of the diplexers is bad. It might be worth it to pick up a couple new ones off ebay they're pretty cheap.
