942 just took a crap

Well, my 942 just died last night. I had it unhooked for a few minutes while I was tidying up some cords behind the TV per the wife's request and when I hooked everything back up, no satellite. I can hear the hard drive spinning off and on and the green light for TV1 will go off and on, but the receiver won't reboot. It won't respond to the remote or any buttons on the front panel. I have tried hooking it up with every connection possible. Anyone have any ideas what might be wrong? I have a replacement on the way, but I hate to lose all my DVR events.

I assume you tried disconnecting from the power again for at least 30 seconds ? I know that's what caused it in the first place, but will force a hard boot. just a suggestion.

Yep, I tried everything I could think of and everything the CSR told me to do.
