Hi People
A newbie question here?

I have a SW64 switch going to a 942 with a power inserter that was formerly hooked up to a 721. This is working fine along with the second TV. I would like to hook up the 721 for my third set, but don't know if I need another inserter or just run the cables from the switch. I also have a 4700 and 300 receiver I will no longer be using. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Any special cables etc.

Thanks
Steve V.

there is a need for **1** power inserter with a SW64, on port 1 of the switch.

Just run 2 cables from the SW64 to the 721.

Welcome,

There is only one power port #1 on the SW64. You will need 2 duplex lines, one pair for the 942, one pair for the 721, total 4 or the full SW64. You are planning an OTA line, especially for the 942, I should hope. It can diplexed on any line, as can the power, but I would use the one for the 721 to keep the best possible signal for the 942, unless they are in different rooms. A fifth wire keeps the Over the Air clean.

PS, LER got there while ate and typed.
