i just got a 922 off ebay how is the best way to check it out.i have it hooked up on G1 And getting cspan

Enter channel number 150. Expect to get a screen that says you are not authorized and need a subscription. The green light on the front display should indicate that you are receiving DCII signal. If these things happen, you are ready to call and buy a subscription for 4DTV. Good Luck! We really enjoy our subscription to Starz/Encore.
If you are getting C-SPAN, you may not be on G1. C-SPAN is (or was) on C3 @ 131°W in analog signal, and on C4 @ 135°W in DCII. You should find Classic Arts Showcase on G1 in the low channels...
Yes i was on c3.moved it to g1 put it on channel 150 i get a screen that is blinking

rodder, you don't need a land line for 4DTV subs. It would help to have an email address as you can then do re-hits if needed on the web.

G1 - Channel 5 is the "Arts" channel in analog. That will confirm that you are on the correct satellite.
You say that you see a 'blinking' screen with decoder ID numbers on screen. The only time I've seen that is when tuned to a Videocipher Analog channel. When I tune to ESPN or ESPN2 on G5, I see my analog videocipher ID on screen. And, yes it does flash if I have the dish mis-tuned and the videocipher keeps losing it's signal lock..

I Cannot Get to switch polarity.i tried it on standard and Rotate 90 Degree can hook it back to my diamond receiver get it on the other polarity And it will work fine on that polarity I"m switching between G1 and C3 till i get something figured out.
Make sure you have it set to "C-Band LNBF" in the setup menu. Then it will switch polarity on it's own.
I Never Could get This To Work It Was Not Sending Voltage To The Lnbf To Switch Polarity. I Picked Up Another 922 Off Ebay It Working Great Except For One Problem With The Bad Receiver I Could Pickup Blue Highway on C4 606 On This Receiver I Have Not Been Able To Get It.I Get A 90% Signal On 606 But Cannot Get A Picture I Get Every Thing Else That Is Itc,
It Maybe Gone now I Left It On G1 3 For The Update last Night And Now That Number Is Not In There It Jumps From 603 To 610
One Other Thing This Unit Still Has A Strazs Subscribed On It .Any To Tell When It Runs Out Are Who It Is With Thanks.
