922 Cost

Is the 922 still priced at $199? I was going to try and get one once the price came down a bit.

Best bet is to call DISH and ask them, the lease price is different for different people depending on your account status.

I just did a chat with CSR and though I have Everything Pak, Premium Movies, and Life HD they wouldn't come down a bit from $200...

It is $539 if you buy it new at a discount like dishstore.net (sponsor link above) sells it. So, like a new cell phone you trade a discount for agreeing to a longer commitment. New customers pay $200 for a 922 too.

When I got mine, I was surprised to find out they wanted 95 bucks to send an installer to put it in. Something I could have done myself by the way. I was able to get them to waive that fee at least, once I got to customer loyalty.

You can find the VIP 922 for purchase on EBay(always check out receiver and card numbers with Dish Network before purchase).

200 dollars is not a bad deal if you ask me. I'm sure someone will disagree. Beats the 400 it cost when it came out!
