921 Remote batteries keep dieing

The batteries on my remote for my 921 keep dieing.
In four weeks I am on my third set of batteries. My 721 last about a year with the same batteries.

Is it a bad remote? I use this reciever about three times a week.

Yes it is a problem with the remote, call dish up for a replacement. One of the buttons is probably stuck on transmitting.
