Thanks, I started this project last fall and took detailed pictures of the tube construction, but since have lost track of them. I will have to take a few more pictures and put up a new post.
That is nice work Pixl, pretty amazing use of technology. I wonder if those things would work for great distances, I could point one over to the next county west and maybe pick up wifi lol. But I suppose it has to be line-of-sight, which leaves me out due to the mountains around me.

The short coax cable to the router is something most people just don't appreciate.
How you got power (over Ethernet?) to the router and waterproofed it would be educational, as well.

I second that. my neighbor and i share internet with a modded satellite dish at just about 2000 ft. works great, but i would love to see your setup. mine is just a superdish with a bow type wifi ant in the lnb spot
