Not necessarily double... consider it about a 25% gain, but combined with all those transponders and spotbeams. That's a big gain!

Will all this gain in space help Dish negotiate contracts any better??

If they can do 7/8QPSK there is no reason why they should not be able to do 3/4 8PSK on the same TPs. It would be nice to see Dish at least bump up a few TPs to 3/4.

So I connected 129 and I see these are still (NA) = not available to subscribers, what could be the delay?

Dish probably has to make sure the picture is up to "par" with the rest. They'll proabably turn them on Wednesday
