Never had to wait on an HD feed, I'm a Dish newbie as of 5 months ago...But Mike Costa originally told me the first week of September I should expect to see it in HD on Dish, but to not hold him to that.

It can take 3-4 months as we have seen with some Newport stations. Indications are that this deal with inked almost a month ago and only one Freedom station KTVL (dma 140) has been made live. (correct me if my memory is faulty) Or it could be turned on tonight - only Dish knows.

The channels are now listed and are in the stream, but they have essentially no bandwidth. The mux is 96% null pids at this time.
You're are right, I forgot. It was Scott that first dangled the rumor carrot about BBC America in hd.
Who ever dangled it first , I still don't have BBC America in hd yet. But then again the shows I wanted to watch in hd were from July anyway. Now when Dr. Who comes back , I want to watch it in hd.
