I did a blind scan on 87w and my cs6100 added a couple TPs. Nice sig and quality.

11005v sr14994
10817v sr9981
10721h sr3676
10713h sr4857

11817v sr9982

Nobody is home though. What are these? Please excuse my nubeness.

hehe...I don't think Multichoice South Africa is coming from the 87W orbital slot...

11817 V 9982 is data but not HughesNet...the provider is listed as ESM.

I am suspecting that you did the blind scan with the wrong LO freq/ lnbf type.
All of freqs except for 11817 aren't consistent with the 87w sat, suggesting that perhaps you have a standard lnbf and blind scanned with 9750 LO freq.
I think that your 10817 AND 11817 are both the same signal, which as mentioned above is a data transponder.
Re the other transponders,
your 10713H is almost certainly 10713-9750+10750= 11713 = Patient Channel
your 10721H is almost certainly 10721-9750+10750=11721 = Bloomberg

I'm still a bit confused about the 11005. I'm guessing that this also equates to 12005, however the SR doesn't match what I was expecting. Is it possible that that SR was actually 4994 (actually 5000) instead of 14994??? If not, I'll keep working on that one. If yes, then that is also a data channel.

This what I have:

Digiwave DGL-780 Standard Linear Single LNB

lnbinfo.gif

Settings are :
LNB Type- Universal (single is the only other option, standard isn't available)
LNB Freq.- 9750-10750

It can't be those because Tracksat has the satellite listed as G26 (Our old friend from 93° West) and they say that the satellite is "(moving 1.7°E/day) at 87°West". When I check the TLE's the satellite is currently located at 50.8°E (Close to Africa).

who cares..

no

you need to set it to single/standard for LNB type
lnb freq 10750
AAAHhhhh HAAhhhhhH!!!

Eureka!!

Funny, when I set all the TPs according to lyngsat and set the LNB type and freq correctly the auto search works.. I am a 'Tard from way back
