811 Included Cables

Which cables come with the 811?

If I remember right, composites, an S-video, and a component. It does NOT come with a DVI cable.

Mine came with RCA, two RG-6 6ft cables, 1 svideo and A 6ft DVI Cable.

Mine(back in Jan 04) came with:
1- 6' Component Cable(red, green,blue)
1- 6' Composite Cable(Red/white/yellow)
1- 6' S-Video Cable
1- 6' RG-59/U Cable
1- 25' phone line

I had to eBay my DVI-D cable. Got it for a BUCK!

I read that when 811 debuted the were shipping with a DVI cable. I am guessing that has changed. Any suggestions on where I can buy a good DVI cable?

Ebay. I paid $21.00 delivered for mine. There are cheaper ones than that now.

The only people I know of who received a DVI cable from Dish are the one's who bought the complete HDTV package.

In the middle of march - no dvi.

Boy, there doesn't appear to be a standard packaging for this receiver. Definately check online for a DVI cable as most of the retail places have them for $80 plus.

You can generally find them in a computer store for around $20 or less.

Check on www.Walmart.com . I did ,and they have one for like 25.00 or less.
