811 favorites question

I'm probably coming back to Dish but will retire my 6000 and get two 811's for my two room insall.

Does the 811 offer 4 separate Favorite lists as did the 6000?

Is the s-video output always active (to connect to a vcr--I know, should get a dvr but it works in our house)?

Yes and yes.

(Actually there are 6 Favorite lists if you count ALL CHS and ALL SUB. You probably knew that. 4 lists are user programmed.)
