811 audio out problem

Well I got a DVD recorder so tried to get it hooked up to 811.
Got video fine via S video BUT I am not gatting audio out from 811 via Composite RCA red and white jacks to DVD recorder.

Not sure why I do use the dig audio jack to Sherwood receiver a OK.

Just seems I can NOT get TWO audio out puts going?

Anyone have 811 audio out problems

Do you have the 811 audio set only to DD in the menu where it should be set as both?
