Anyone watching the game tonight? We're seeing all kinds of problems. From black screens every few minutes (and sometimes only a few seconds) to color fading out then back in. Wondering if it's my receiver or if WLYH (or D*) is having problems.

Sorry, was only making the point that there were no "system-wide" or atmospheric anomolies that seemed to be in play from the stadium. :)

no sweat...wish we coulda watched it on SS too! Went to the game last night. Thanks to ESPN picking up the game, we got home at 3AM this morning. Can't tell you how great it is to buy tix for a 1PM game when you live 3 hours away only to have ESPN swoop in at the last minute and throw that sorta wrench into the works.

Be glad you don't have to watch it on FSN, when everyone else gets it on ESPN HD.

Unless it's the Sunday or Wednesday Night Baseball "game of the week", I am usually blacked out on ESPNHD and have to suffer through FSNSD. Though for me it is a toss-up. ESPNHD provides the only HD option for Braves in my local area, but Joe Morgan and Jon Miller (especially) drive me nuts. Miller talks just because he can, and rarley offers anything that is remotely interesting or relevant. Or...

I can watch on FSN or SS or TBS and get my homers. They are like old family friends for the most part and talk about the players and the game in a personal sort of way. Since they travel with the team all year, they get to know them better. ESPN is stat driven only.

Though stick John Smoltz on the TV for an inning's worth of chit-chat from the dugout, and things feel more like home. :p

Yeah I agree on the announcers, I was only referring to the picture quality, TBS FSN and SS are all pretty bad for me.
