I have a seagate external HD on my computer holding a few files I transferred over from another puter. I really do not want them on the puter I am using now. If I hook this HD up to my 722K do I have to format and lose all information or can I do it without formatting? I think I am going to have them send me another receiver but I do not want to lose all my recordings. I have lost them 4 times in the past few months due to the 722K booting , freezing etc.....!
until a fix comes out I am going to have them send me a new receiver every time they want to.hahaha Such a waste of money for new receivers and tech visits.
I really can't bypass the OTA and watch my locals on the tv, i record all my programs on these channels. going to wait until the Hopper has the OTA in the fall, I know they said summer but we all know Dish's time frames! lol....................Thanks !
