A couple of weeks ago our 625 receiver gave up the ghost after 10 years of faithful service. Thanks to Chris_S I was able to get it replaced with a 722K. A technician came and swapped them out, but he did not have any more batteries for the #2 remote so we did not set it up. So now we have two 722Ks in the house, one downstairs and one upstairs in the man cave. I recently got some batteries and configured the new #2 remote for the SD tv in the upstairs bedroom and for the new 722. When I look at the recordings it shows the recordings that are on the downstairs DVR, when I change channels it works great on that TV. However, when I change channels, it also changes the channels on the 722 in the man cave.

I have looked at the setup on both DVRs and the addresses for the #2 remote are different on both 722s.

What do I need to do so the #2 remote for the downstairs 722 doesn't change the channels on the 722 in the man cave?

A guess is man cave #1 remote is set to the same address as 1st floor #2 remote. Cure is put them on separate addresses.

Agreed. Many technicians don’t understand that when you install a dual tuner, you have to program the remote so that it doesn’t change the channel on any additional televisions. What really makes me wonder is why he did not have batteries when every new receiver comes in a box with two new remotes and for batteries
