With the 721, is it possible to re-name the recorded events in the PVR list? For instance, rename multiple episodes of Saturday Night Live with the guest hosts.

I doubt it. I know it can NOT be done with the 921, and I believe they are similar software bases.
There isn't even a menu item for it. I doubt you'd be able to do it. It seems to save the guide info for the program with the recording.
I wish, it would be a nice feature!
(The 921 also needs this feature, it sucks when you record anything off air and its listed as something like "Off Air Digital Recording")

It cannot be done with any Dish DVR at this time. I do not see it becoming a feature at least this year anyways (I see Name Based Recording coming before this feature would come about).
