72.5 DirecTv 5 in LA area

Does anyone have a printout of the footprint for DirecTv 5 at 72.5, I want to know if it covers the LA area here on the west coast or does it get cut off like the Nimiq 3 satellite? Lyngsat says DirecTv 5 is CONUS, but is it really? Any info will be helpful

Technically, there may be problems with the footprint getting to LA. The 72.5 slot covers as far south as Waco, and as far west as Boise. However, the slot is Canadian, and a Mexican slot is at 77. Since you are so close to the Mexican border (relatively speaking), 72.5 should not be broadcasting that close due to the 77 slot serving the Mexican community. It could be, though.
