Current Dish 721 user - looking to swap out my non DVR receiver for a 625.

I'll rant for 2 seconds about a "promo" that I pay $50 for with an 18 month commitment (requiring a $13.30/month payout if I cancel) where I still have to lease the machine. grrr... If the R15 wasn't so new I would be a DirecTv customer right now.

But my question is concerning the reliability of the machine. I saw some notes about audio cutting out. How often are you all rebooting your machines?

Thanks

The 625 is the only option I see from Dish if you aren't ready to go to HD. My only other options are to purchase a different model from eBay (or someplace like that). My experiences with the 721 have me wanting the support (unless you know another way to get support for these machines).

Ok, the 625.

I have had one for about two months, and have only reset it once. I had to reset it, because the skip forward and skip back buttons stopped working. It never happened before, and it hasn't happened since.

The only audio cutouts that I have had are when watching recorded events, I'll occasionally loose audio for less then a second. It doesn't happen everytimeyou watch a recorded a event, and infact, has only happened a few times(at least that I have noticed).

Thank you sir - just realized I posted this in the HDTV forum (which would explain why you probably thought I meant 622). I'm going to repost in the correct forum (blush).
