Has anyone experienced pixelation with a Dish 625 DVR?

If so, what was found to be the cause?

Was the DVR replaced?

If so, did that resolve the problem?

I was looking at someone's DVR today, and the darker colors seemed to be pixelating.

This was on a CRT television, not HDTV, no expensive equipment. Also, doing it on TV2, so you can't rule-out one television as a source.

Check switch was good, installation was solid. Signal strength on 119 was high 80's and on 110 was low 100's.

System was installed less than three months ago.

I would blame it on today's local severe weather, but person stated that this noticable problem has been ongoing for a few weeks now.

Your experience and expertise is appreciated.

Thanks,

Bob

What kind of video connections are you using? Are you using the S-Video connection? RCA inputs are OK and the coaxial input is horrible. But the S-Video will give you the best picture that your TV can possibly put out.
