622 w/EHD - ?s on setup/how it works

I purchased a 1.5TB HDD today and hooked it up to my 622. Installation went well with no problems. I have 2 211Ks w/EHDs but
this obviously works different.
This is how I think it works, if incorrect please lead me in the right direction.

You can only record to the primary internal drive as always. If you go into "multimedia" you can move recordings from the primary
drive to the EHD for storage. I looks like you can then go into "manage EHD" and either restore the recordings back to the primary
and then play them from there or play them directly from the EHD.

Does this sound like i'm on the right track?
