THE 622 and the 625 are 2 completely different products. Both are DVRs but the 622 is HDTV and the 625 is SD.

From what I've seen other than the HD or OTA tuner they are the same unit.
I've find my pq so good on the 625 that till all channels go HD I'm have no reason to change.
I also use OTA for my HD locals.

I would expect by the end of the year the 625 and all non mpeg-4, non HD units to no longer be offered for new placements. They'll be around for years for warranty replacement. Got to get that move on to MPEG-4 to save bandwidth.

Of course, if they share sats with D* or sell out, all this could change.
