622 to 722 Upgrade - Any other equipment needed?

Is this as simple as just reconnecting the wires, or is there anything that needs to be swapped out between the dish and receiver (like a switch or something)?

I'm considering this.

If it's as simple as just reconnecting wires, will the just mail me a receiver (and I email them the old one back), or will they actually have to come out and install it?

If it just a matter of exchanging one receiver for the other, it is just as you say. Disconnect existing receiver and wire in new one, except that Dish does not allow customers to do this when dealing with HD receivers. They will send out installer to do this for you as they want to make absolutely sure the receiver is hooked up properly.

It's also good to have the installer if the box is bad like my 722 was. Thank goodness he had another.
