622 - "Swap" Capability

Okay-
My last "newbie" type question here on the board.

I know the 622 is a dual-tuner DVR - is there a "swap" function built in that lets you switch between tuners?

Right now w/ Comcast I can tune to a channel - start recording it - hit swap, and I switch over to the other tuner.

Does / will the 622 work the same way? I'm assuming it will.

Not sure about the "swap" thing, but when you press record, you can choose which tuner you want it to record on. So, if you are watching a program on tuner 1, you can hit record, and choose whether to record it on tuner 1, or tuner 2.

yes - in single mode, you can use PIP and SWAP (with or without PIP) to swap tuners.

This feature exists on all the Dish dual-tuner DVR boxes. Works slightly different on the 721/921 IIRC.
