622 Remote Codes

I have a HT-R540 from Onkyo, and cannot get a code to work for the E* remote. I tried the code scan and all, to no avail. What should I do about getting this to work.

Same trouble here with my TX-SR700. The first two 622 remote codes for Onkyo do allow me to turn it on and control volume, but nothing else.

Check this thread for more info... none of the codes work to power Onkyos off, which is what the scan tests. Nice, huh?

i had same troubles with my panasonic reciever, so i agve up on dish remote and use a urc samgsung2000, it has most of button except input selecdt and mute a more than minor inconvience for me but not worth spending hundres on a harmony to fix imho

A word of note,,
Dish network remotes are NOT compatable with all components
In fact,I really wish Dish would stop calling the thing a "universal remote"..It isn't.."Universal" implies the device will work with all components..This is simply not true.
