622 ignores added time to record other show

Since the 522 and probably earlier, the s/w hasn't allowed the user to start a recording late nor end it early. 99% of the time that just wouldn't make sense.

Except for those episodes of Enterprise and Torchwood on HDNET that end 10 minutes early followed by filler.

Yes, a lot of stuff on HD-Net has a lot of filler on the end.

But, there is no pattern - sometimes HD-Net and HDNet-Movies end a show a minute or two after the end of the time slot (I've had DVR recordings of their films end just before the end of the film ).

Nor does it need to.

Why not? It would let Heroes record for 1:02 in full then let Journeyman record for a full 1:00.
