622 For Dummy Question

Had my 622 installed yesterday and have been neglecting my job and family ever since.
One dummy question.
The DVR on the 622, in single mode you can record one program and watch another or record two programs?
In dual mode you cannot record 2 programs?
This mode thing and single dvr for two tvs is a bit confusing for me.
Is there a thread somewhere with a good explanation? Because the manual did not explain how the modes and DVR work together very well.

You can still record 2 programs off of satellite and one OTA program at the same time no matter which mode the 622 is in.

The main difference is 2 TV mode you can have 2 different programs on 2 TVs. 1 TV mode gives you Picture in Picture.
