Meanwhile the FCC is auctioning off everything above channel 30..the NAB is in its death throws

Sometimes I think the NAB would rather give up the frequency and be cable only. This way they get more revenue. However the NFL currently will not allow this and they are one of the biggest influences to the NAB

Darn, there goes WJW's attempt to move back to RF channel 31. (Their pre-transition digital frequency) I haven't been able to receive that station OTA since they moved their digital frequency to RF channel 8, and now I can't get it on Dish, either. Oh well, at least Dish sent me a free OTA antenna so I can "try" to pick up WJW's OTA signal for free.
