Hello Everyone -

I recently readjusted my actuator and was able to go quite a bit further East. Since I installed my Pinnacle, the actuator limit was
reached shortly after 72w. After making some considerable adjustments and squeezing out every bit of range I could get, I can now
go all the way to 55.5e. It was really nice to pick up 58w. It was certainly nice to pick up NHK World TV HD. Would be nice to even go further East but the rim of the dish is almost touching my patio roof when parked at 55.5e ... Oh well! Now that I've got my Linux Server up and running again ... I can watch a little more TV :D

Happy New Year to all!

Regards,

Bill - KJ6EO

Might as well log Amazonas @ 61W. 3630 H 2785 is there 24/7 color bars. There's some Ku there also.
Who knows where the OLY feeds will be?????
I find myself watching NHK quite often.

Always nice to get more birds!!

Hello ctemtechnology. :welcometo the forum. KJ6EO'S equipment is listed in his signature (the info at the bottom of his post) His dish size is 10 feet diameter. His lnb is a norsat 8115. his receivers are listed.
as for elevation & azimuth. go here http://www.dishpointer.com/ and type in your address. press go. that will change the map to your house. the in the next window down select 58W Intelsat 21 and that will draw a line on the map to show you where to point your dish (azimuth). The elevation is listed in the details below the map. Please note the details are for a fixed prime focus dish. An offset dish is different.
Or if you have an android or apple smartphone I believe there are several apps for them that show where the sats are located in the sky from your location. Dishpointer has a good one I've heard.
Good Luck bird hunting :)
