522 TV 2 Out

With what channel setting do you get the best picture? The default is channel 60 (air) and I have the TV 2 out split to 2 tvs and it looks just a little grainy. I could add a distribution amp or I thought maybe there was a channel that might look better rather than putting in the amp. Any suggestions?? Thanks much...

What kind of splitter are you using? Also what kind of cable, and what type of ends are you using? Is this premade cable or did you make it?

RG6 that I ran myself. I am using a 900mhz splitter.

Are you using those twist on connections? You must make sure that the white part of the cable comes up to the inner lip of the connector. I wanted to know if it was a good brand of splitter or one of those cheaps ones you get at the dollor store. A 522 TV2 out going to two tv's should have a good picture, unless there are cable or splitter problems.

My TV2 out goes to four TVs after a pretty long cable run. I also combine the TV2 out with an OTA antenna. I had to use an amplifier on TV2 to get rid of the grainey picture but it works fine.
