522 Timers not recording?

First If this has already been asked I'm sorry.
What would make the 522 all of a sudden miss timers? It has never done this before, I came home and found the 522 not recording. When I hit the guide I found 2 shows that I have set up to record (NCIS and Law & Order) but was not marked to record. They are both first run (new) episode's. When I scanned ahead in the guide those same shows are marked to record. When I look at the schedule it doesn't even show them as skipped.
Any ideas?

Reset 522 Timers

I've had a 522 for about a month now... and it has been recording without a problem for the entire time. Yesterday I noticed the dreaded audio sync problem... I couldn't fix it (as I usually can with a pause and rewind) so I reset the system.

When it came back up, all the timers were still there but none of the shows were marked for recording. I erased all the timers and rebuilt my list, and it seems to be working fine now.

I wonder if your system was reset (power outage? other reason?) and then you lost your timers?

If not, you might want to run hard drive diagnostics on it, just to make sure everything is OK.

My 522 blew the 2/17/05 retailer chat I have no explanation why it is the first one in months. I still have my timers so it was not a loss of timers. I recorded the replay of the retailer chat today and while playing it back I found there was no buffering of the programming on the active channel. I had the noon news broadcast on while playing back the recorded program, I expected to be able to go back and scan through the news broadcast to pick up anything important. I found nothing in the buffer. I'll blame it on DISH software.

I have a problem too with the 522 and porn timers. I set them up for dvr once only events and it seems to miss recording them. I even set the timer priority for the top of the list and it records all the dish pass timers but it is hit and miss on the porn timers. I also have the locks enabled but no channels locked out. I don't have the adult channels locked out either. I will see the schedule show they are going to record but then I check the next day and it shows none of the porn timers are scheduled to record or no events have been recorded. I also have the timers set to record from like 1100pm to 500am. I really don't know what is going on. I thought that the dvr once only timers were set to record just like the 500 series or 921/721 dvrs- You know time based only. It has me confused. Any one know what is going on?

Thats How I fixed it, deleted all my timers then set them all up again, That seems to have solved the problem. "At least for now"

I had the same problem about 2 months ago.... deleted and recreated all of my timers and it started working again. Now it did it again tonight. This thing is really starting to annoy the hell out of me.

Mine is doing the same freakin' thing. It worked great for the first 2 weeks I had it, now the timers aren't showing up on the schedule. It still shows them on my timer list, but that's it! I really don't want to delete and redo all the timers as I have about 20 shows listed and it would take for freakin' ever! I thought the 522 was supposed to be a good thing, but I am beginning to wonder!
