522 DVR Time Left Bar stays on during playback

Sometimes when I use the DVR functionality, skipping commercials and all, the DVR time remaining timer and scroll bar at the bottom will remain on the screen. Is there a way that you can get it to come up and stay during playback or is this just a bug?

I've seen mine do it a couple of times. It went away each time after pushing pause for a second or two, then playing as usual.
