522 Dual Output

The 522 recordings are not common. Tuner1 must be played back on TUNER1, Tuner2 must be played back on TUNER2 if you push the DVR button it only shows the programs recorded on that TUNER. It acts just like you had two separate 50X's connected to the TV. But if you have picture in picture on your TV you can make it work with just one receiver, a slight plus for DISH but definitely not a TiVo.

That is not correct.

I was able to record a show on tuner 1 and watch it on tuner two (and vice versa)

Scott I was the guest that posted that information, I guess I wasn't patient enough waiting for the 522 to update itself. The 522 does not list both tuners immediately after recording has completed. I have tried it twice and Tuner 1 and Tuner 2 had different programs listed but a half hour latter both listings had been merged and did show up on both tuners.
