522-722 upgrade, do I return my remotes?

I got the empty box from Dish to return my 522. The 722 is to be installed Tuesday.
The letter with the box gives thorough instructions on how to pack the receiver but says nothing about returning the remotes.

Does Dish want the remotes back or can I keep them for spares?

I've kept mine all three times that I have upgraded because there is no mention of returning remotes.

No, that paper has pictures of what items to return. And it does show the remotes on it! If not, they will charge YOU.

mine didn't have any pictures of remotes on the packing instructions - just how to put the foam on the receiver and place it in the box so i keep my 811 remote also
