510+standard receiver, will it work?

I just ordered teh 510 receiver last week and was wondering if (until i get a 522) i can use my current receiver, hook it up to the 510 and be able to view a channel other than the one being recorded?
I'm pretty sure this would mean i'll have to pay an additional receiver fee, correct?

You will have to run another line from your dish and depending on your current setup you may have to add or upgrade your LNBF's and or Switch. If your TV has multiple inputs you can connect each receiver to it's own input and use your TV to select between them. Yes you will have a second receiver fee.

I'm not sure what your trying to ask but if you have 2 receivers you can use the 510 to record and watch a different channel with the other receiver.

And yes you will be charged a $5.00 fee for a 2nd receiver.
