The drive was nowhere near full. 30-40 hours out of 100 possible. Some of the recordings were older, 6-8 months ago. Some where from the week before. Not the end of the world but I did miss the final two episodes of the Sopranos. 
Just wanted to confirm what whit had seen elsewhere about recordings disappearing after the upgrade.
