505 to 600 remote

I upgrated from 505 to 600 but my broker did not give me new remotes with the new 600 .I have to use the old ones is this normal? Or did they keep them?

i dont have a 600, but every shaw direct receiver I have ever purchased (317, 505 x 2, 605, 630) came with AV cables and a remote
