50 years ago in Little League

I would have guessed Danny Almonte.

This is the problem with Little League...too much opportunity to cheat. The year Danny Almonte dominated, the Staten Island little leage coach, whose team Almonte had beaten in the regionals, was interviewed on WFAN. He was saying Almonte was too old. The hosts were not nice to him, and neither were the callers afterward, accusing him of sour grapes.

When later in the year Sports Illustrated uncovered Almonte's birth certificate and he turned out to be not one but two years too old, I'm sure it was bittersweet for the Staten Island coach.

And cheating on birth dates is the least of Little League's problem, there is a lot of other cheating that goes on as well.
