5 lnb on a tripod

Hi, I am new to this forum. I was scheduled to have the new dish installed yesterday to replace my 3 lnb. The installer comes out and says he can't put the new dish up because it has a larger outside diameter mast than the old dish. So i was told i needed to purchase a new tripod before they can install it. I found a few tripods online that will fit the new dish, my question is do i have to purchase a new mast or does that come with the new sat?

Jstrand,
Try a muffler shop. They have to shim pipe sizes all the time. Also I know a 2" adapter pipe is available. Try one of the other DTV accassory dealers that advertises on this site.

Post back if it works or not. The ku sats are tricky to tune. I wonder if a tripod needs additional stability........think non penatrating pan type roof mount.

You still need to buy the 2in OD mast..
