Ok y'all... I have one of my surround speaker setups for sale.

This is a great "little" setup for something like a living room configuration. What's in it, and why is it so expensive?

The 5 of the 5.1 are Canton Ergo loudspeakers.
The center channel is the 605 CM (original retail $1000). This is a 2.5 way large center channel that can run nearly full range? 2.5 way, wait that doesn't make sense ;-) One of the woofers only operates below 250 Hz, to reinforce the low frequency output.

The remaining 4 speakers are the 601 bookshelf/wall mount speakers (original retail $1000/pair). These are only about 3-4" deep (I'm at the office, not home) and are designed for direct placement against the wall. There are keyhole mounts and are easy to mount on the wall with Molly Bolts or similar drywall anchors.

These have outstanding sound quality and are in excellent condition for their age. Note that one of the DC601s has some scratches on the back, and I've included pictures of the CC, the main speakers and the scratched back on the one picture. The badges for the front of the DC601 speakers are on order and should be in shortly. They will be installed (or shipped to you) depending on when they arrive.

The subwoofer is an Onyx/Rocket MFW-10 10" subwoofer (original retail $500). It's an excellent little subwoofer with clean response to the 30Hz range and great cabinetry. Sorry, no pictures of it :-( Unusual for a sub at this point is a balanced input. I will take some pictures later tonight or tomorrow and add them on to this thread.

At this price, I am including insured shipping.

PM if you are interested!

It is a good deal...

Canton isn't as well known in the US as they should be.

You know STL to Cleveland is only 2 days for UPS ground ;)

I wish I had the money...I really do! I have been looking for something to drive my sound in my theater as my little yamaha speakers just arent cutting it for me.

Looks intriguing, but given how they would be used at my house would be like getting a golden retriever and leaving it chained in the yard.

I'm a little sad to let them go -- but they deserve a good home. I'm doing some simplifying around here and them just sitting around unused seems like a waste.
