4x1 Diseqc Switch

I have a Coolsat 4000 Pro slaved to a GI 550i analog receiver connected to a 7' mesh dish. I'm only interested in connecting just the C and Ku LNBs to
the diseqc switch. Using a 4x1 switch instead of a 2x1, does it matter
which ports I connect my cables to, or do they have to be on the same side
of the switch the "receiver out" port is on? Thanks!

Any port will work, just remember where each cable goes and set up the receiver as such!
