Sometimes when I tune to a station or when I am on the guide. I select a channel. It tunes to the channel the guide disappears but the picture stays small like the guide is on? Only way to fix it so far is to reboot Joey? Any suggestions. Thanks. Sorry upside down.

This has been happening to others with other receivers as well. I think it's just an early bug for now. What happens if you just hit the Sat power off and then back on?

Same thing. I read that somebody on here for and unrelated issue just unplugged the HDMI cable then tried it again a HDMI-CEC issue will try that later. Just being in the bedroom. To get up everytime I change the channel and restart Joey is a pain.

Can you please PM me with the Joey R00, Software version, and Bootstrap Version. I will submit this as a Know issue to our Engineering depart for a resolution.

I saw this happen once on the Hopper 3, but not on my 4K Joey. That one time was right after the H3 got set up, and I haven't seen it since.

Been having this problem on my HwS since the S52x updates. More so lately in S529 and there is no way to get out of it. It can happen with any screen that moves the display to the corner.

Will do. Thanks. I know you are busy but could you possibly get back to me either way say in a couple of weeks. Maybe after the Feb 11th. I am guessing there will be a software update for the remote and the 4 window PIP. Just not sure how long I should go with out making a stink. Thanks

Of course, after saying I've never seen it since that one time, I go and show my son the Sports Finder app, and after I had him exit back to Live TV by holding the "Back" button on the 52.0 remote, there is this big back rectangle on top of the screen. Just a thin slice of the tuned channel behind it. I tried launching the App again, figuring that might make it go away, but nothing worked. Eventually I navigated to the Diagnostics tools and Reset the Hopper. Good as new after it restarted.

So I pop out of the shower and decide to watch the NFL network. While putzing. Turn on TV and the PIP small on the right side has moved to the left side a little bigger! Getting better. Not.

I pop in and out of that room a lot. Each time I turn on the TV. Just flip a coin. That was the first time it was on the left. This is on a 4k tv with a 4k Joey. I read on another thread somewhere that you should change your resolution on the 4k Joey to 720P. Which I just did. Will see what happens. It is supposed to allow the TV to just up convert once. I am wondering if there is an issue there. Was stated that that would give the best picture as well. Figured it is worth a shot.

Same problem here. I have to reset the H3 every morning when I first turn it on.

Good point. But I may turn it on for Nextflicks when I use it. And some day when there is a 4K station. I doubt I will use the VOD feature. But the 4K tv up converts all content. As of now it looks really good. 4k netflicks is sweet also. Thanks

If you set your resolution to 720P I don't think you will ever see 4K.

Not going to post another picture but this time PIP size screen was in the middle of screen. Turned 4k back on.

This happened to me the first time I began playing with my new Hopper 3 ( right after the installer left, naturally ). I couldn't help but notice that it looked like one of the PIP windows on my Sony XBR, but I couldn't find the PIP part of the new user interface. So I remembered I still had my spare 40.0 remote that I'd used with my Hopper 2. I paired it with the Hopper 3, punched the PIP button on the bottom and turned the PIP off. Problem solved. I don't know it that was it, but that little window has never returned.

Thanks. That's not the case here. It only happens on the 4K joey which comes with the 40 remote and PIP is off.

Hmmm, has anybody tried adjusting the picture format on their 4K Joey using the Format button? I have a old recording of the Boeing 787 and instead of 16:9 it's squished 4:3. I thought I'd try the Format but it had zero effect.

Has anyone else seen this?
