Is there any way to get 4DTV to be multi room, to view different channels on different tv's at the same time? If so, how? If this is not an option, is Motorola thinking of doing something for this?
I'm new to c-band so sorry if this is a stupid question, but is there a size of a dish that is big enough to cover all satellites and not move? Then I could just put 2 feedhorns on that for 2 receivers, is this possible?

Yes there are a few dishes that can hit more than one bird, one can hit most of them at one time, though I think it is about 100' and very very expensive.

Best thing to do is add cable or pizza along with the 4dtv.

You can get a feedhorn with 2 c/ku lnb's, but you will need another 4dtv and will be limited to only one satellite at a time.

Or you can look around for a used dish and pop up another one :) or another 3 lol.

Yeah, that's a bummer 1 satellite at a time, I don't think more then 1 bud would be good, I'd look like I'm trying to contact the moon or something :shocked lol :D
I'm new to these terms, does a pizza dish mean like Dish network?

Also note, if you have multiple 4dtv's, they will not allow you a mirror fee for subscriptions. You have to subscribe with each unit separately. I think this could have been part of the downfall of the subscriber base.

If I wasn't in an apartment (and had the money), I would put up a 10 foot mesh in my FRONT yard for EACH satellite in the arc.....seriously....I'm not joking!

I have my 4dtv going to 4 tvs in the house, but all the SAME channel.

my dsr922 has coax output and I've split it and run it to all my tv's. The UHF remote rocks. I didn't know the receiver was coming with it, and I couldn't be happier with it.

The "same channel" problem isn't really a problem for me like I thought it would be. Generally, only one of our tv's is on at a time anyway, so it doesn't matter. And on the rare case my wife watches something and I want something else, she can typically catch it on the OTA antenna, and I'll watch what I want on Satellite down in the basement.

The 922 also has two RCA outs, best way to use those is to buy coax and run three to the next TV and put RCA ends on the tips, works great.
