my guide keep saysin guide information is not available. why would it say that. its updated i think its the dsr-922 its on G1(3) and i pressed guide and no guide

I had that problem 2 did a softboot and a online rehit all updating aok now. i was missing the guide Info only

tried that this morning when i woke up and it worked perfectly thanks alot downloading my program guide before work thanks man

Before it goes to G1 TP3 for an update (between 2 an 2:30am Eastern) you have to made sure that the dish is zeroed in on G1 and the green DC light is on. If the green light is not on you will not receive the transmission. I fought with this for about a month before I came across this. Also if you miss an IPG update, go to G1 TP3, when the screen says "can't find channel, countinuing to search" press the guide button and leave it alone until the IPG come up, usually takes anywhere from 3 to 10 minutes. Hope this is of some help.
