No, it is Portland Maine. It is a small market, only 7 stations...but they now they will have all 7 of them in HD. I am jealous....my DMA (Boston, adjacent to Portland) only has the big 4 in HD.

All right Dish, HD non big four nets in Portland. Now try moving south to Boston. It is annoying to know pretty much every single Net in NYC is in HD, but in other Northeast cities, it's only the big four. I understand why, but maybe if NYC didn't hog up the space, other cities could get a net or two extra.

You mean CT. Out of respect to Scott, I won't discuss how we further north think of it as the Diet Coke of NYC, Whopper Junior of NYC, the Ford Ranger to NYC's F-350. And I certainly won't mention how we sometimes don't consider it to be part of New England, but a quad to New York's tri-state area. I won't do that, but to answer your question, no. Hartford is a nugget compared to Boston, so Boston should have came first. Boston doesn't supply just Massachusetts, but southern New Hampshire as well. More subs would have been served.

I think the issue is transponder space
Portland spotbeam right now has 7 HD channels and 2 SD....once they launch the 2 HD channels then the 2 SD will leave
Boston spotbeam TP 5 has 4 HD and 8 SD channels...so maybe the spotbeam is full. Boston has 4 other SD channels on EA on different TP's too

Funny thing ice, is that some of the Spanish locals, such as Univision, are in national feeds in the upper 200s. I'd say kill those on the spotbeams until more room opens and allow the others in HD. If I got a national feed for any of the main English networks, I'd agree to discontinue my local feed.
