Someone help me out plz. I just purchased a directv 3lnb sat. and the installation went fine, but only to find that I need a 5lnb dish to get all HD channels. So i already spent the money on this dish I was wondering if I could just swap out the 3lnb nodes with 5lnb nodes. Here is the site for the nodes I was gonna get....

Directv SL5 Slimline KA/Ku Five Lnb with built-in multiswitch

here is the dish I have..
DSA-20MA

thanks for the help

The 3LNB you bought is the old Phase III dish that receives the 101, 110, and 119 sats. For HD reception you need the Slimline as stated above. However, most likely the Slimline SL3 will work for you. This dish receives the 99, 101, and 103 sats. You might need the SL5 if you get your locals from the 119 sat.
